デザイナー黄理子が、祖母のコレクションを再構築しながら自身のアイデンティティを探ったコレクション「Dustless」にて制作された、一点もののブローチ。

【Dustless Collection】
祖母から受け継いだ物。
その物と自分との関係性を考えてみる。
そのものたちに思い入れはないけど、
そこに詰まっている計り知れない記憶。
その記憶を、過去を想像してみること。
きっとそこにある今の自分の一部となっている何か。
”受け継いだものを、再構築する。”
これは受け継いだものの限られた素材で、
どのように新たなものを生み出せるのかという実験。
それは、過去から今に続く線の中で、自己を再認識する行為に近しい。
今、ここに存在している私は
どこから来て、どこに向かうのか。
過去を想像してみること、
過去に思いを馳せてみること。
祖母からという存在を介して、
自己のアイデンティティについて考えてみる。

Things that were passed on from my grandmother
Thoughts of what connects them to me
Don't care much
Yet tons of memories dwell in them
Those memories, the past I do imagine
Are the essence that probably leads to me here
"Reconstructing what was handed to you"
A grand attempt to create something new from only the few DUSTY ingredients
It's almost like untangling the knots, the string that leads to me
The self that is here, from where did it originate, and to where is it headed?
Reminiscing the past, inscribing the mind on the stone
The presence of my grandmother
That could forecast my identity
Such is the essence of this exhibit
